I’m going to share an interesting conversation I had with the Lord. I know it was never intended by the Holy Spirit to be between God and I alone, due to what was discussed between us.
The Lord simply was able to get my attention and engage me in conversation, so that as a scribe, I could “record it” in writing for others to receive His Counsel through our conversation.
Yes, I hear some of your thoughts… It was as real a conversation as you would have with the person next to you, but yes, it was Spirit to spirit communication. I don’t mean that I heard an audible voice…but I heard the Holy Spirit loudly speaking within my own spirit, clearly audible to my spirit man. All believers have this ability to hear Christ within them. See John 10:27 if curious about this. I heard his voice clearly and precisely.
I’m asking you now to join us, as we converse, as in the room eavesdropping on our conversation. Please keep an open heart and mind toward Christ Jesus. This indeed is the testimony of what I was given, and I’m asking that you read this whole article from start to finish with an expectation of revelation in some form to be given to you.
As I begin, let’s look at John 7:16 “Jesus answered them and said, my doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself. He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he that seeks the glory of him that sent him, the same is true and no unrighteousness is in him.” Jesus spoke these words of himself, as he was sharing what The Father had given him, and I, in like fashion, say of myself too, that you will know whether what I share is from the Lord, or whether I speak of myself, by the time you finish this article. The Holy Spirit will bear witness within your heart. I’m simply desiring to be obedient.
It all began as the Lord initiated a conversation with me out of the blue, during a very ordinary day, while in my living room. Home, and alone, I could be engaged in conversation without interruption. The Lord began our conversation by posing a question to me.
I’m going to put what the Spirit of the Lord communicated to me in bold and what I responded to Him in normal blue type, okay? And I will narrate and share my own thoughts in italics to bring you, my reader, understanding of those.
Again, that is:
Bold – The Spirit of the Lord
Blue – My response to his questions
Italics – my thoughts as I was within this conversation as well as extra information for the reader.
And so, our conversation begins:
The Lord initiated this conversation with saying these words, so loud within me, that it was as if it was audible:
Is Your Net Working?
His voice spoke these words in such a way that the word “working” was very emphasized in my spirit, yet it was pronounced as the word “networking” to my ears, a term constantly heard and used in the business world…a term I was well-acquainted with.
What do you mean Lord?
Then, with a pause, I pondered the idea that “that term” networking must be part of God’s infinite plan…and somehow His idea in the first place…but that maybe Satan decided to steal it for a time and use it for his own advantage…and that God was now rising up to turn the tables on him, for it was to be a Kingdom word! The Lord patiently waited on me to turn back my attention to him and off my wandering thought. He was, after all, awaiting my reply…
And this then became our two-way conversation, He to me.
Let’s go back to my question about your Net…
My own thoughts about networking immediately ceased, and He again had my listening ear, and I noticed He now had His attention on the word “net”.
What do you think about when you hear the word Net by itself?
Fishing
And in Jesus’ day, with what did they fish?
With nets
How did His disciples pull in their fish?
With a net
And what did Jesus say to his disciples about their fishing?
I thought about it a moment. Actually, I was hearing and singing suddenly within my spirit that childhood song with these lyrics, “I will make you fishers of men, fishers of men, fishers of men. I will make you fishers of men, if you follow me.” I think I learned it in Sunday School. So this led to my answering Him with:
I will make you fishers of men, if you follow me.
What does that mean to you? Me, making you all fishers of men?
Well, fishers of man means the harvest of souls, right Lord? …men’s souls brought into the Kingdom of God? They will accept Jesus as Lord and Savior?
I somehow felt I was missing something, so I responded in questions… but spoke what I knew, and He continued.
So then, doesn’t it stands to reason, that we will do this fishing for men with a net?
Yes, Lord! You are telling me it won’t be with a fishing pole, but with a net?
Well, I knew there would still be one-on-one fishing, but that He was saying the big catches will come via nets.
I understand you, Lord.
I paused, “Very Uncomplicated”, I thought. Yet the Spirit kept on talking…
OK Beth I’m testing your hearing here… Who am I “associating” with the Nets?
The disciples, right?
I knew within, instantly, that none of us disciples would be bringing in our catch alone… but that we would join together for this work. It would be teamwork. And then I heard this proclamation…from Him!
You disciples ARE the net.
You make up the net.
You will be joined together to form the net…To bring in a multitude of fish! (men implied to be the fish)
Together… Unified… Strong…
So then, I began seeing so much, without him speaking in my mind. I pictured how a real fishing net is woven together so tightly and strong… and then I pictured people, like paper doll gingerbread-shaped people with hands and feet extending connecting to form a net by their feet and hands. I like giggled inside, a bit like a child, but then the spirit went on… for it really was stupid (later on, in hindsight, he revealed to me that we indeed interlock with our hands “those that give” and our feet “those that go”. I’ll put an image here that actually shows what I was seeing within my spirit.), but let’s get back to this conversation.
Beth, “relationships” are what bind the people in a net together. Isn’t that what networking is, in the World, too?
Yes Lord.
So how do relationships come together?
I guess we just need to connect and communicate, Lord.
Yes, and these connections will be done by My Spirit.
Then I saw this in my mind’s eye: I saw the individuals I had entertained recently in my own living room. I knew persons A,B,C,D,E,F and G (let those letters represent people). They were “all” attached to me somehow… that’s why they were invited to my home. But I noted that D only knew B and F, and C only knew A, and G only knew me, and G’s friend H only new G not even me…and some of these relationships were close-knit, some people were maybe “even fish” (unsaved), and some were not particularly liking each other, as Believers even. Yet, they all were a part of “a net” I could see within my spirit, “a net” of those who were just in my living room. (It is kind of hard to explain but look over this again until you can get understanding, okay?) Then I thought just about those people, and I pondered a thought which I spoke:
Wow, Lord, if I would have just bonded us together in purpose during that get-together, we could have “together” pulled in some fish, couldn’t we have?
Yes, and much more!
You could have all “bonded tighter the net” or “mended a breach” or “added to the net” or “pulled in a fish”. That was a net indeed!
I had no idea of this perspective; that my family, friends, and acquaintances were a net! And the main link “was me” of that particular net! Yet then I pondered, “Still, the spirit did a great work upon us, despite my ignorance.”
(The Lord read my thoughts as usual.)
Yes, much can be done even without your knowing, for I will make you fishers of men, but it will be much more “adventurous” and “fun” for you my disciples, if you begin to see what I am up to in all of this, and begin to submit one to another in love, to enjoy the bonding together. That’s why I asked you, Is your net working?
Condemnation wanted to come on me (it might have been the submit word), but I realized what He meant. He meant that we need to “consciously think about” who we have relationships with… those who are in our own little world. We need to begin to mend our nets… expand our net… see what little fishes are around to catch, even if our net is in the making, and share this revelation! The Spirit interrupted my thoughts, for He was not yet finished, and He posed to me another question:
Beth, how do you suppose the need “to connect” and “communicate” is going to happen for you?
He was going on without a pause, though I realized he was using “the same words” I had responded with earlier.
How do you suppose my disciples communicate with one another within The Net?
I don’t know Lord… tell me.
I really just didn’t want to think deeply, to be honest. I was momentarily perplexed just from the way He spoke the phrase, The Net, emphasizing both words, but mostly Net. And He resounded, loudly, with The Answer to His own “asked” question:
INTER-NET
He stressed it as two separate words, emphasizing, Inter. Peculiar though, He was pronouncing it like enter net (i.e. as enter the net) AND inter net (i.e. means between, among, in the midst). Hard to explain it, but both ways were emphasized at the same time. He is God, after all. And there was even a third way at the same time being emphasized… that was “understood”. I heard and “knew” within my spirit, The Internet…our regular world-wide-web Internet! Yes, indeed, we are to communicate through the Internet!
I was excited in my spirit, and happily exclaimed to the Lord…
Wow! Sure! Makes Sense!
It’s already happening!
Facebook, Emails, Websites, Instagram, Search Engines, Bibles Online, Twitter, Christian Lyric Videos, Movies, etc.
Yes, The Disciples are communicating to each through this means… The Internet!
Then, more light… thinking: Hmm, this too, must BE A Net. Humbly, I’ll say, “The lights were coming on.” Then the spirit of God spoke some more:
What do disciples have to do with their Nets to use them and make them effective?
Spread them
And does the size of them, and the distance they spread make a difference in their “catch”?
Well… yes, Lord. The bigger the net and further the distance each spreads, the greater the catch, I’m sure.
So Beth, when I asked, “Is your net “working”, What do you think I was wanting you to think of in response?
Well Lord…
This time I knew I couldn’t get out of answering as I did before. I needed to think and reply to this question with some intelligence.
I guess I need to make sure my closest relationships are strong…
A net must be strongest at its center, I imagine…
And I must encourage all my friends who know one another (besides knowing me, that is) to “get along” and to “communicate” and “bond together”.
And I think that my net is continually being added to, by you, so that it becomes bigger!
So, I guess I must become alert to those you bring to me and give “relationship with”.
Right…and Beth, what about expanding to those who aren’t yet in “relationship with you”?
Didn’t You say that they were by Your Spirit?
I thought You made those connections Lord…
I do… But sometimes you must “consciously” expand your net and attach it to other’s Nets, to make a Much Bigger Net.
I could see this truth, And I understood, and I replied:
Yes Lord… I will do my best to make it stretch…My Net… just as far as it can possibly go!
In my heart I could see instantly that He was speaking of “networking” in the very true sense of the word. That this person or group was somehow connected to that person or group, and so on. And that the individual in their living room on their PC would know that person at the office on their Mac, and they then would then connect with so-and-so, whom they knew, etc. I was, at this time in the conversation, just seeing individuals in the “internet world”. Later, however, I saw that organizations, families, churches, businesses are connecting and communicating too. Nets are coming together for Kingdom purposes! Hallelujah!
That’s it!!
I don’t have to know EVERYONE…
I just need to know SOMEONE…
And they just need to know someone!!!
I began thinking in an equation:
Someone +Someone +Someone +Someone soon would = Everyone!
Soon…a matter of TIME…our Nets would bring in the biggest catch ever!
Yeah, this girl is “slow”! Ha! (some of you have known this stuff for years.) I was just getting it! But the Spirit of Lord is patient and kind.
I realize the Good Lord gives us “revelation” as He wants us to LIVE by it, so if you’ve already known all this, then God is indeed seeing you… and your response to it. Have you been faithful?
Okay, back to our conversation. (The Spirit is addressing someone reading this.) The Lord continued on…
So, Beth, Let’s take a look at the nets you have…and this time I DON’T want to talk about PEOPLE.
Oh Brother.
Yes, I sighed. I humbly admit it. He heard my response, so I maybe sighed audibly!
I was just getting used to the concept of the people connecting to form the Nets, and now He was moving away from people.
A whole new topic? (then He put me at ease as I realized Jesus IS “my brother”! LOL And He has a sense of humor)…(smile) …He understood me.
Beth, my Nets are not “just” people…
Explain Lord.
You just said that the nets were your disciples connecting to bring in the harvest of souls… the fish!
I was thinking of people
Oh, we’re just getting started, Beth.
Listening?
Yes, Lord.
You are A Net… and what you do makes up your net, too. Your works connect and communicate.
I had to stop and think about what He said.
So, my works make up my Net?
Still pondering here… yet I knew he was in the process of changing my complete train of thought.
Okay Lord…Does that mean that my songs, my devotionals, my YouTubes, my church fellowship, my worship, my talking on the phone to help someone, my buying gifts for people, my giving to ministries…These are all A Net? Too?
(Please note that I was conversing with the Lord, and “man” was not in the conversation at this time. I am just honestly telling you of “our” conversation. I realize salvation is “not of works”, lest any man should boast, okay?)
Yes, Beth. Each disciple’s “work net” is A Net.
God is so fun! Hard to explain, but He took net work (network), and mirrored it back in his voice, as Work Net.
Each Disciple’s Work Net (implying works net) IS A Net…
Their net (They’re that Net) within their PEOPLE Net…
Within a bigger Net…
With a bigger-than-that Net.
I am constructing a Great Big Super-Sized Net!
A NETWORK! An invisible, intricate network… multi-dimensional.
Not “uncomplicated” as you thought earlier, but so complicated, only I can “know it”.
Already the Lord’s “play on words” was complicated to me…and believe me…He had fun “rubbing in” that last sentence, as a Big Brother would tease his little sister… but was “quite serious”… yet quite whimsical…a smile in his voice. (If you missed it earlier in our conversation, I had said Oh Brother and thought “how uncomplicated” when our conversation started up.) Revealing, He doesn’t miss a thing we say (or a thought we think). He proved this to me by what He just spoke. (I’m now in awe!)
Mind you, He and I were communicating THIS conversation In Spirit… but my “thought”, that he read, was not spoken by me in our conversation, but only “my deeper thought” and yet He knew it. I did not consciously speak it to him when I expressed myself in thought. This was a thought even deeper than the thought which I expressed, and yet He read it. He, indeed, is able to divide soul and spirit! He was reading “both” within me, for I was conscious of the thought I had, but did not “speak that thought” to him in my spirit-to-Spirit conversation. Those words, “very uncomplicated” came originally from my soul, not my spirit… my mind, not my heart, evidently.
Sorry…getting sidetracked here. Someone reading this may want to ponder this perception. I’m already beyond myself in my own pondering.
Although I’ve probably confused some of you, I wanted to record my own thoughts so as to not forget them. And I praise God that Christ divides soul and spirit. That’s how Jesus knew people’s thoughts (Mark 2:8) and how His Spirit is now joined with our spirit.
The Bible in Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” He just proved it to me. But yes, I still “heard” what the Lord just had to say (see bolded text above).
So then, after communicating at several levels…and thinking of my works now and not people, our conversation continued with me saying:
Wow! God! This sure changes my perspective!
My works must come forth! …
Those done in love of you…not dead works.
Our works reflect where our heart is Toward You, don’t they? …
Yet so many people have rejected my works, Lord…
I get wounded by criticisms and discouraged of weariness…
I know other faithful ones are growing weary of well-doing too.
Yet then, I was led to and shown I Samuel 8:7-8 (I had my bible near), wherein the Lord spoke to me using His written word:
“They have not rejected YOU, but they have rejected ME, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done…wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto YOU.”
My own works have waned Lord.
I’ve served other gods… pleasure, man-pleasing, the laziness-from comforts, too much television or Facebook…
Even I, have rejected your reign over me, at times, haven’t I, Lord.
The spirit of the Lord was silent. He WAS the Lord. The minute I spoke that word, I felt “sober” for I had called him “Lord”, always, but not always have I responded to him AS Lord. Only some of the time. He was letting the sober conclusions of my heart be felt, so that they could then change my life. (Discipline need not be harsh…sometimes an awareness is all that is needed to course-correct.) I knew I wanted to change…For love of Him. He was silent so I could know my own heart’s response.
The awareness that our works as Christians are rejected because it’s the Lord being rejected, somehow made me know He understood my suffering, and that I was basically fellowshipping in His Suffering. I must be willing to do Works, and not hide them.
I will focus back on doing the works of the Kingdom, Lord…
Even though I walk “in grace”, works are accepting your “reign” over me.
I shall do them.
I must take responsibility for my OWN Net. I see that now.
And make it stronger!
Yes, and you CAN. This done by My Empowerment! That’s why I Am Here. This is why I asked YOU, “Is your net Working?” …
Each one of My Disciples needs to answer this question for themselves… and it is a big question, with a very lot of “possibilities”.
Is Your Net Working?
Not sure why, but at this time I envisioned a big water drop… a bubble huge…constantly changing shape before my eyes… kind of a glob that never is able to stay in the same shape or consistency… always-always in change…a living organism… and I likened it to the Spirit’s moving among us with this Net construction. I have yet to ponder this picture in my mind’s eye, but it was like a Star Trek space image of unformed matter…an ever-moving, almost organic thing, happening in the Body of Christ.
As I pondered taking “responsibility” of My Net, I instantly tried to come up with “a tangible concept” to grasp… speaking aloud:
People connecting
…and works communicating…
nets work…
people nets…
nets, organizations…
nets, groups…
nets, churches coming together…
nets, individuals… disciples…pulling in fishes…
I was speaking aloud my thoughts, then I spoke a thought that was a layer deeper, which was evidently triggered by the Holy Spirit:
God what about those who aren’t really disciples? …and aren’t really fishes?
I mean, what about those not wanting to bring in the lost, because they’re not really your disciples?
I mean, they don’t really “follow” YOU.
I waited on God for His answer. And this is what I heard back:
In the end, people will either be saved or lost, disciples or fish, sheep or goats, wheat or tares…
There will be no in-between.
And then I thought of that.
I thought… that’s what He said… it just didn’t sound clear to me, somehow. A questioning was coming up from very deep within my own personal core… from my heart not my mind.
Lord, what about the ones who can “take or leave you”?
Who are saved but aren’t really serving you as Lord?
What about them?
What about the ones who don’t know your word?
They don’t have a close relationship with you?
The ones not in obedience?
Oh yes, a whole different topic, but one I wanted YOU to bring up.
The Spirit of the Lord sounded quite like we had finally come to the actual place He wanted “to begin” this conversation at, but first He had to build up my “understanding” to actually begin. (He had to “lay the groundwork”, as the expression is used.)
Friends, when God leads up to something line by line, precept upon precept, question by question, then BECOME ALERT – The lights are about to come on! The Lord is simply using a “dimmer switch” effect so that He doesn’t overwhelm you with so much light that you “can’t see”. How many of you know that light can be blinding? (I think this may have been what happened with Paul, in the bible. Saul was blinded in the physical and then became a Paul in the spiritual… blinded for a time because “so much light-came suddenly” in Christ. Just my thought.)
Why Lord? Why did you want ME to bring THAT up?
My focus was back on those believers somewhere “in-between” being a fish (lost and unsaved) and being a disciple (a devoted follower of Jesus).
Because I wanted you to know your own “heart”.
To see deep within, you already have been given the heart to fulfill your purpose… the vision is already within you…
Because you – and others – are going to be given the task of “pulling THEM in” – into The Net – FIRST.
Yes… the babies… the undecideds… the prodigals… the wounded wanderers… the returning…the ones who THINK they are mine, but they aren’t…
Bring THEM IN – into The Net of Intimacy and Lordship…
Then they can be a part of bringing in the LOST ones, the Fishes yet to receive salvation.
Let them know that they CAN hear my voice, have relationship with me, obey me, and love others, be free of the dominion of sin, be healed… all through my gift of grace and the cleansing power of my blood… and through me, The Spirit within them.
I thought of Romans 10 and Isaiah 65 where Isaiah quoted, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” …And how God seeks out those who are stumbling, wounded, need healing, are disobedient, are held captive by the enemy… especially those he calls His.
His grace so great… his love “longing for” them…to embrace them. Oh, the love of the Father! Oh, the love of the Son! I was suddenly “overwhelmed” in my own emotions.
Oh yes, Lord. That’s exactly who I am and who I am to be, isn’t it…
I’m called to Believers…who are not-so-faithful ones… bringing them closer… to YOU.
Called to catch in my net, those who are yours, so that they can be more fully yours!
Awesome! I see this IS my purpose now.
Some people’s Nets catch the lost, Some people’s Nets pull in the fish stuck halfway in, not even knowing really their own status, or wanting to be “pulled in” because of their own torment of being in-between.
All one big, jumbled-up mess isn’t it, Lord…
The Net, I mean.
I was suddenly thinking of nets that weren’t strong; Rather, were torn, tattered, loose, holey, fish half in and half out of it, other garbage in with it, and in total disrepair.
I guess, with that change of thought coming suddenly, on top of the spoken thought, the Spirit and I went instantly into yet another facet of our conversation.
I knew I was being given a picture of the state of The Church. Ouch! No wonder we can’t bring any lost in…any fishes… or any prodigals (those who have turned away from grace and faith). Our Net (believers connected together) is in complete disrepair!
We are all here–trying to connect–but envyings, strivings, jealousies, lusts, compromises with evil, pure selfishness, and all other awful “stuff” is literally ruining God’s Net!
Yet, HE wants to fish with it! …With US!
Yes Lord. David had seen this too. (For those that don’t know, David was my deceased husband). Yet he seemed in anger all the time about it…about apostasy taking over the Church!
I was then led to Mark 3:5, and God again spoke to me using the written word, and I took note, that Jesus had zealous anger over it too! Even in his day, where it says, “And when He had looked around about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, He saith…”
As we conversed, I was seeing the truth of the kindness and the severity of God… within…but I spoke this:
Can you give me a loving way to “connect” and “communicate”, Lord?
I do not, even myself, like being around that zealous anger, though I know You have your way in those you’ve given that to, too.
It all just seems so “judgmental”.
You are a God of Grace!
It’s only by your grace and mercies any of us can walk the Christian Walk!
By revelation of the Spirit, I then realized that Jesus had the “emotions” of anger and grief (spoken of in that verse) … yet His Actions were that of love and healing, not judgment… for in the same verse of Mark 3:5, scripture continues: “He saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.”
Christ did not put on “others” the anger He was feeling of his own. He experienced these emotions; Yet He loved and healed a man right in the midst of his emotional stirrings. He stayed calm, cool, and collected. (smile)
Ponder this: Even though it says Jesus was angered and grieved about what he was experiencing around about him (i.e., his own emotions were a mess!) … in the same verse (at the same time) He heals a man! He put his emotions “within himself”, exercising complete self-control, and did the Father’s will!
Knowing my thoughts, the Lord continued, in conversation with me:
LOVE…
THAT… is the ONLY WAY….it CAN…BE DONE, Beth
He definitely stressed “CAN”.
LOVE never fails.
LOVE is what will be the thread that sews-knits-weaves my Nets back together again.
LOVE for me and for one another Quickly Mends Nets.
I paused to think of love as a thread, sewing us, together…
He broke into my thought …with a more profound thought “given”:
And so does OBEDIENCE.
It is the needle, that pulls the thread of love, through each individual and group, as I then mend The Net.
Did I not say, “If you love only those who love you, what credit is there to that?
But when you OBEY ME, I will mend relationships…supernaturally!
I will do this.
Does not my Word say, By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments?
He quoted I John 5:2 (I looked it up just then)…And in the next verse, Verse 3, it reads:
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.”
Here are those verses again, side-by-side, needing Re-Emphasizing…so I added more for context:
I John 5:1-5
“Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our Faith. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
Yes, Holy Spirit, I SEE:
Obedience to God – is – Loving him and His Children
As we OBEY, He will Mend our Nets…Our relationships!
Love is not about our emotions. It is about our obedience.
Dead Works will cease, as obedience takes us into the works that are valued! Those wrought from the Obedience of LOVE!
Take some time to ponder how God looks at love and obedience.
OUR CONVERSATION WAS CONCLUDED.
Closing Remarks:
Friends, months have gone by – much work has been done – to communicate with you all — but now for the connecting” (smile)
Friends, I have asked myself, “Is MY Net working?” and I’ve asked the Lord to GET IT WORKING…for all works are “from Him, through Him, and to Him” (Romans 11:36)
I, myself, am being responsible, after having had this conversation, to share it with you.
This is me spreading my net, and now “connecting myself” TO YOU… We are in this TOGETHER…You and me.
I don’t need to “know you” necessarily to “connect with you”, yet I am asking that you make a “conscious choice” to RECEIVE what I have given you from the Lord herein. I ask you to pass it along somehow, by telling your friends, in order to allow my net to SPREAD and JOIN to YOUR Net and Theirs. YOU connect to me, by connecting to someone else, and passing on to them that I have attached to you with…
That person you connect with
Then connects to another
And SOON, very soon
According to God’s Promise to “supernaturally” do THIS THING…
The “connecting” and “communicating” will become a reality,
and we will have OUR Networking…
our Net WORKING…
and our working NET. Amen?

in the net of US ALL
Here is what I see:
People coming together.
Nets of believers are being put together,
mended, strengthened, and at the same time,
we are “fishing” with them.
By the end of the age: One Big Net!
Jesus “making us” FISHERS OF MEN.
We are “becoming a net”!
His Kingdom Come and His Will Being Done!
Is Your Net Working?
Didn’t Jesus pray in John 17:3 that our complete unity was so that The World would “Know” Him?
Sounds like we’ll together become A Mended Net to me!
For His Use! Amen!
And I also know that each separate individual is bearing their own fruit, doing their own works, and they are a net which has begun to form, in itself…Yet an individual’s Net must NOW join to others’ Nets… so that we can together be Fishers of Men. We can no longer be “loners”.
It takes us ALL… EACH of us doing the work of connecting and communicating, doing works, obeying God, and loving others.
Jesus said, “I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19) This means HE IS DOING THE NET
CONSTRUCTION by His Spirit, for the end time harvesting of souls is soon upon us.
WE WILL BE KNIT
TOGETHER “IN CHRIST”.
We are all part of THE NET!
Pondering now this thought myself:
Could it be? …THAT JESUS IS THE NET? MADE OUT OF US ALL, IN UNION WITH HIM?
Wow! Then what a strong Net we will be!
We will ENTER NET (Come to Christ)
– BE INTER NET (Abide in Christ)
– AND THANK GOD FOR THIS
“INTERNET” (Where we’ll share Christ)!
The Internet won’t cease to be used by The Enemy to take ground, so let’s determine to get on it and use it to take ground for the Kingdom of God!
Greater is HE that is in us, than he that is in The World! Amen?!
The Spirit of God IS at work! Let’s connect and communicate!
Let’s open up our lines of communication between ourselves!
Repair the Breaches in our Net!
LOVE ONE ANOTHER – BY OBEYING HIM
Interesting to note, my own hand drew the two black and white pictures I have here at the end, way back in 1997 in Minnesota where I lived, as I was in prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, but I had no understanding then. I just now scanned them from an old journal of mine and consider these to be confirmation of my hearing his voice clearly to record our recent conversation.
And why am I sharing this, as I close this article? Because we have an amazing God, brothers and sisters! Don’t dismiss for a second what He has given you in your past. Many of you have served the Lord for many years, as I have. You have a works net. You are a net. So revisit some of your promises, prophetic words, journals, notes in your scriptures, and stir yourselves up in your faith and purpose! Try to see how everything fits together with who you are now in Him. It could be part of Your Net, so strengthen that net. God doesn’t waste a thing!
Remember, THINK “connections” and “communications” as you work on your OWN net. I’ll be doing the same.
Reconnect with your past and make new connections for your future. Once knit in the Spirit with believers, you’re always knit…so just repair the breaches, okay? Don’t be shy!
Satan wants to keep the Body of Christ from connecting, or re-connecting, but the thread of love and the needle that activates through our obedience will enable God Himself to repair the nets and then join the nets together to take in the fishes!
And now…May the simplicity of this conversation be EMPOWERING to the Body of Christ…so that we will LINK TOGETHER and be AS ONE GREAT BIG NET!
We can still be fishing, with our own net, as God is making up his big net from us all! (smile) God is Love! He is up to something way bigger than we can imagine! I just know it! He wants men caught in His Great Big Super-Sized Net! First his prodigal sons returning and then the harvest of souls!
He wants the end time harvest to be as the disciples’ experience mentioned in the gospels! They pulled up such a draught of fish that they came into fear because they themselves couldn’t hardly handle it!
Let me share the scripture in Luke 5:4-11 so you know what I mean:
4 Now when Jesus had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9-10 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken.
And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
Catch the vision my friends!
God gave it in conversation! It’s so exciting!
His first question was, “IS YOUR NET WORKING?”
Give it some thought.
He speaks that question to each one of us.
Re-read this conversation, if needed, for understanding.
And begin to pray and respond, as the Spirit leads you.

Imagine what an amazingly big net God could have if all of us determined to make Christ Jesus known to all who we know! It just brings me joy to think about!
