I don’t know how many times I have heard those words whispered within my own spirit.
You see, through His Spirit, the Lord Jesus becomes your Best Friend Forever!
IN THE MIDST OF whatever is going on with you, the Almighty God cares, and expresses that loving care to you as only He is able.
Read the following prose the Spirit inspired to me, as if The Lord God is speaking this TO YOU:
In the midst of everyday living,
Know that I am here to care for you.
In the midst of sadness,
Know that I am here to cheer you up.
In the midst of happiness,
Know that I am here to rejoice with you.
In the midst of sorrow,
Know that I am here to empathize with you.
In the midst of desire,
Know that I am here to return that same desire.
In the midst of confusion,
Know that I am here to bring clarity to your thinking.
In the midst of contentment,
Know that I am here to make you feel that way.
In the midst of weariness,
Know that I am here to give you strength.
In the midst of fear,
Know that I am here to give you courage and confidence.
In the midst of insecurity,
Know that I am here to make you feel secure.
In the midst of pain,
Know that I am here to alleviate it and bring you comfort.
In the midst of joy,
Know that I am here to smile with you!!
In the midst of passion,
Know that I am here. Be true to me, and I’ll return the passion.
In the midst of temptation,
Know that I am here to lead you out of it, repeatedly if necessary.
In the midst of emotion,
Know that I am here to help control your emotions, so that you know how to express them.
In the midst of trouble,
Know that I am here and a “present” help in that time.
In the midst of torment or turmoil,
Know that I am here to bring deliverance and comfort.
IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL,
Know that I AM HERE.
….. and I LOVE YOU………………………………………..
Sounds like the commitment of a “Best Friend” to me!!
When you become a Child of God, by accepting Christ, then you have the Lord with you in the Midst of It All… with his promise to “never leave nor forsake you”!

Here are just a few promises, that let Believers know He is in the midst of it all.
Look at these and hang onto these verses for yourself! There are many more, but these will get you started! Maybe even highlight them in your own bible!

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Hebrews 13:5

I Peter 5:7
“Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you.”
Isaiah 41:10-13
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

As I close this chapter, I would like to share a song I wrote after a conversation with the Holy Spirit, called Two Questions. It is an amazing little revelation given me, via “His” questions.
I want to share the song with you, to draw you even closer to Jesus. This is a great little revelation to just share with others!
These two two-part questions… So, there are more like four questions! (smile)
Take a listen and I have written the words down below the link for clarity, just in case you don’t have ability to listen now or have sound!
Here is the link:
Two Questions – Elizabeth Ann Smith – Receive From Me
Jesus asked me the first question… and I answered him…
And then He asked the second question… and I answered Him.
They changed me…
Giving me a fresh perspective
Realizing what Jesus expects of me in way of response to Him.
Am I willing to go through, out of love for Him, what He went through out of love for me?
Somehow I believe those who hear this song and play close attention to the lyrics may have their perspective changed too. God gave this song for a reason. (smile)
Lyrics
One day the Holy Spirit
Whispered to Me
His still small voice was heard
Within my spirit
What He asked
Was a simple little question
Yet the question drastically changed my life
He asked
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
I could answer Him
No other than Jesus.
Jesus knows my thoughts
He sees my ways
He created me
He knows me
His love for me
Can’t even be questioned
For He demonstrated it to me
So Clearly
He was mocked and bruised
Scourged and beaten
Crucified and buried
Then He conquered death
As He arose for me
So that I could from death
Be made free
And then
Next, the Holy Spirit
Whispered to me
His still small voice was heard
Within my spirit
What He asked
Was another simple question
Yet the question drastically
Changed my life
He asked,
Then who should You know best
And love the most
Who should You know best
And love the most
Who should You know best
And love the most
I could answer Him
No other than Jesus
I should know His thoughts
And observe His ways
He created me
I should “know” Him
Can my love for Him
Even be questioned
As I demonstrate it to him
So clearly
Am I mocked and bruised
As I let “my flesh” be
Crucified and buried
Sin is brought to death
As He arises in me
For I know that from death
I am free
And now He asks YOU
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
Who knows you the best
And loves you the most
Do you answer
No other than Jesus
Who then should you
Know best and Love the most
Who should you know best
And love the most
Who should you know best
And love the most
I hope you answer Him
No other than Jesus.
Will you answer
No other than Jesus
