Elizabeth, you are at peace even as I give you ideas today – and this is my desire for you always.
To remember, read my statement like this:
I don’t think my people have realized the value of truth. My Word is truth. I tell you in the Love Chapter that “Love rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.” (I Cor 13:6)
Yes, daughter, you are on the right track. I AM Love, am I not?
So, I’m saying, “I” rejoice not in iniquity, but rejoice in the truth.
I understand this…yes, Lord.
I know, Lord, that iniquity and sin go hand in hand, one being wrongdoing and one is wrong thinking. I recently reviewed my Bruised for our Iniquities article, wherein you gave clarity as to the difference: Iniquity is what we exhibit when we come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit that something is sin, but we justify our behavior or actions and refuse to turn. This then adds iniquity to our transgression and sin. Sin is committing the action, whereas iniquity is the attitude of resistance to you Lord.
Iniquity is willful continuance in our known sin.
And now, Elizabeth, as we continue, this is simple but good. Write this down:
Fire = purifier ——— remember this.
Truth = clarifier ———- remember this.
Yes, Lord… I hear the word FIRE at the end of those words, as you give this instruction too!
Without MY truth from the Spirit and the Word – one cannot have clarity in their Christian walk.
Your heart must be purified, and your mind must be clarified to receive properly from me.
If your mind isn’t clarified by truth, you can be deceived even reading my word.
Can you give me an example, God, of what you’re telling us? I really think that will help.
Ok Elizabeth, you know Romans 12:1-2 by heart. What does verse 2 say?
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind”, right?
So, what is it that renews your mind?
Well, Lord, it is the Spirit and the Word of truth.
The Spirit IS my fire, and the Word IS my truth.
