A sudden awareness that as a Bride, in the natural, is preparing for her wedding, she already has said yes to her groom and knows she is loved…and then she busies herself with all the preparations…concerning herself with guests to invite, people to involve, and choosing such things as venue, her cake, picking out her maidens, choosing her colors, her flowers etc. She is indeed caught in a whirlwind of activity while all this is going on. Her focus being on the event and on how to involve others.
Yet then, there COMES THE TIME, for every Bride, when SHE, HERSELF, MUST GET READY! She must prepare her own self to be attractive and bring joy and pride to her beloved…that He may embrace her without blemish!
…even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Maturity is desired by God for his children. Parents, in the natural, would be more-than-a-little concerned if their babies remained in the infant, child, or even the teenager stage. What would bring any earthly father joy is to have his child come to full maturity! … to apply all he has taught them to their own lives, … to see them excel in adulthood …accomplishing as much as he did and even more!
Your Spiritual Maturity pleases The Heavenly Father, in the same way.
As we see from the above verses, Christ himself desires his Bride to be holy and without blemish.
Is it possible?Yes! And the Holy Spirit and the Word will make it possible!
We wouldn’t be God’s children without having come to Christ Jesus, by faith, to receive the gift of salvation. But this really is only the beginning of the amazing life and purpose we are given in His Name. There is more! So much more ahead!
Each chapter may be just the beginning of what additional truth God will reveal to you personally, or prompt a response or action from. I am trusting that because the Lord gave it… He has a purpose for what He has given.
Seek His Face. Hear His Heart. Desire His Plan.
Allow this book to take your spiritual roots down deeper, and cause you to fly higher, with great zeal, into the Lord’s purposes for you personally. The truths I share are not “aimed at” anyone. I received what is being shared rather like I did as an executive assistant, sitting in attention at my bosses feet, taking his dictation onto my note pad as he spoke it aloud to me. As I heard it, I recorded it, and then relayed the document created to the recipients. My career taught me to “tune in” to the Lord’s voice, just like I had learned to tune in to my regular boss’s dictation in the office. He was my focus, and hearing him was all that was on my heart at the time! For I knew “my boss” had a reason for all He is giving in a document, and I know the Lord has his reason for giving the chapters in this book, His Document. In honesty, I would never have created these chapters if I was writing a book called Get Ready on my own! That’s why I know this is from the Spirit of God! He sees and knows way more of what is needed in His Church to make her ready for himself! I trust His Words spoken to me for you, and I trust His Word, the scriptures, which are the foundation of all He speaks in this book.
My prayer is that you will be blessed by this book, and then go on to read the five books from the Receive From Me Book Series, and the 2-in-1 book called Wonderful in Counsel – Excellent in Wisdom. As the Bride of Christ, he wants us not to be led by any set of rules and regulations, i.e. the law, but to have love for Christ, our heavenly bridegroom, dictate our response to Him!
Ours is to be a real-life love story, and a glorious one at that!
