Finding Hope in God's Plan: A Call to America’s Hearts

Considering that America’s FREE WILL is being exercised…and recent election results as they be at time of this writing…

The Lord is showing me Psalm 33:10-22.

I am going to bullet it for you to follow it easy with me, okay? And remember, this is God’s Word!

The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Blessed is the Nation whose God is THE LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind.

From his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth.

He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.

No king is saved by the size of his army.

No warrior escapes by his great strength.

A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all his great strength, it cannot save.

But the EYES of the LORD are on THOSE WHO FEAR HIM…

On those whose HOPE is in his UNFAILING LOVE…

To deliver them from death and keep them alive IN FAMINE.

We WAIT IN HOPE for the LORD.

He is our HELP and our SHIELD.

In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy Name.

May your UNFAILING LOVE be with us, Lord, even as we put OUR HOPE IN YOU.

I submit that WE who ARE HIS can trust HIM (Our Lord) to be our hope, our help, our shield, and our deliverer, for our LORD WILL RESPOND to us, in accordance to how we respond to HIM. The Word of God is very clear on this. Jesus is coming soon, to RULE AND REIGN, and the Spirit and the Bride will say, “COME”.

As we journey into the unknown, the Spirit of God is telling us that it is more important, at this time, to prepare OUR HEARTS than it is to prepare OUR FUTURES.

The citizens of America did not choose a President who would stand alongside of Israel as God’s chosen people, nor have we, as a people, chosen the way of righteousness, but instead have glorified “lukewarmness”, which God promises to spew out of his mouth.

In our outright pride of being Americans, yet displaying outright defiance to God and His Word, we are indeed to be trembling and walking in the Fear of the Lord. We have exchanged OUR GLORY… for our shame.

Jeremiah 2: 11-13 says:

“Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.”

Revelation 3:15-17 says:

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.”

Saints of God, let us HOLD FAST and continue to be followers of CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

Cease not your prayers of intercession for the USA.

Psalm 103:8

“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.”

Psalm 103:19

Though we as a nation, may fall, The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

He is able to answer us, HIS PEOPLE, despite what it looks like.

Twice, once with Jesus and once with Stephen, intercession was given in scripture with loud declaration:

“Father, Forgive Them, For they know not what they do!”

In my own heart, I plead this for USA. I wonder if the mainstream of society has even paused to realize how God, who gave us this great nation, looks upon our defiance.

We who are citizens of the Kingdom of God, still have OUR KING REIGNING on His Throne.

John 18:37

Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to my voice.”

God led me to the song THE BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC as I was writing this. I will, therefore, close this article with the lyrics and ask you to read them as part of the message OF this chapter. Why? Because I was amazed at the clarity of the message God continues to send us all, nestled right within our nation’s music!

This nation continues forward with this “battle” hymn… And this time we all know what the battle is all about: It is about “who” will rule and reign over us.

Let’s tighten up our ranks, do what we can to make a difference, and with unity focus on the advancement of the Kingdom of God! Then maybe we can influence the course of our nation, and whether others collectively will turn toward God.

Let’s pray for GOD TO HAVE HIS WAY in America. He directs the hearts of our leaders, and He hears the heartfelt prayers of his saints.

The will of the people, the majority, is being done… and I wonder whether the majority has considered God’s Will in anything. His mercy triumphs over judgment when we turn from our wicked ways, but to the unrepentant His judgments are true and just.

Be assured…Let God be true and every man a liar! HIS TRUTH …. IS…. MARCHING ON!
