God is asking now, that those who speak his son’s name from their lips, would be like Christ…
In Matthew 7:20 Jesus himself tells us:
“Wherefore by their fruits, you shall know them.”
Matthew 7:16-18 clarifies what was meant:
“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.”
When I wrote and recorded an album from the Sermon on the Mount, this was one of the teachings that I put into song. I want to share that song with you now, for it will penetrate way deeper than just reading the verse. There is something about music that makes things come right into the spirit man. Please take a listen before going on:

By Their Fruits – Elizabeth Ann Smith – Receive From Me
There has been a gradual “turning away” from Christ and the truth of the Word of God, even by those who “say” they are Christians, and the Spirit of God would like to have eyes opened to just how much we all have become desensitized and unaware of this shift “away” from God.
The Spirit of God inspired a song that I wrote and recorded that really illuminates this condition of His Church…
And Father is asking us to be “reconciled” back to Him by a turning, or returning back, to Christ, and a following of His Ways in our everyday living.
I believe this song was given to shed light on hidden places of the heart that God sees, even though others may not.
It is called “We Talk Yet Act” and puts light upon some of our “blind spots” as believers. Light dispels the darkness, so there need be no apprehension to read through the song’s lyrics.
A knowing of being set free will come as you yield your heart to the Spirit, and heed whatever he may speak to you as you listen.
He gives this promise, “Draw nigh to God, and He Will draw near to you.”

We Talk Yet Act – Elizabeth Ann Smith – Receive From Me
If you have no sound or are in a place you can’t play music right now, I have typed the lyrics below for you to read through:
WE TALK YET ACT
We talk love
Yet act indifferent
We talk scripture
Yet act worldly
We talk purity
Yet act immoral
We talk “Poor Me”
Yet we buy, buy, buy
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
Jesus is our Lord…
We must act like Him
Jesus is our Lord
We must act like Him
We say we’ll talk
And yet we never do
We say let’s get together
But the time never comes
We say we love Him
Yet we do not obey
We talk like we do
But do we show it
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
Jesus is our Lord…
We must act like Him
Jesus is our Lord
We must act like Him
We talk faith
Yet act worried
We talk kindness
Yet act rude
We talk patience
Yet lose our cool each day
We talk forgiveness
And yet we’re bitter
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
Jesus is our Lord…
We must act like Him
Jesus is our Lord
We must act like Him
We talk peace
Yet we fight…
We talk “stand firm”
Yet we compromise
We talk love of God
Yet do we “know” it?
We talk peace and joy
Yet we cry cry cry
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
We are desensitized…
We are unaware…
We can talk the talk
But do we walk the walk?
Jesus is our Lord…
We must act like Him
Jesus is our Lord
We must act like Him
After you’ve listened to, or read the lyrics of this song, take to heart its message.
Is there something that the Holy Spirit is bringing conviction in regard to?
Is there something that needs to be repented of ?
To repent means “to turn” … we turn away from revealed sin, and turn toward the Lord. He then empowers you to overcome. It is “a process”, so be humble and realize this.
Keep throwing your sin back on the altar of grace until you are “free” from it, for Christ not only forgave your sin at the cross… He freed you from sin at the cross.
Once you’ve been reconciled to Father God through the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, and receive salvation, then the Holy Spirit becomes available to you to lead and guide your life.
The following two verses from the Word of God are to bring you encouragement that the Lord stands ready to receive your repentance and to abundantly pardon that which the Spirit may speak with you about.
Isaiah 55:6-7
“Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord and He Will Have Mercy upon him; and to our God, for He Will abundantly pardon.”
and
II Cor 6:2
“For He says, ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, Now is the accepted time; behold, Now is the day of salvation.”
Why is this message important right now, today?
Because you have “A Kingdom” available to you… to live in and walk in today: The Kingdom of God.
Then, no matter what happens to “your country”, be it the USA or another country of the world, there need be no fear, for your citizenship is in the Kingdom of God.
God will soon send Christ for His Church, which is made up of believers everywhere, and then true believers will no longer be here on earth.
And then later, when we return with Christ, we will have Him “reigning supreme over us all”! So, what better future and hope can there be than that? (smile)
The thing is, God is to be reigning in all of our lives right now! If we will allow him to have the authority in our lives, He will do his part to enable us to have victory over sin! We each have a free will to choose to live for Christ.
It is time for The Church to exercise its free will to radiate His Glory through our obedience corporately too, as God steers people here and there, bringing them into their destinies, their places, and their true purpose.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (God). You will be left behind at the time of the rapture if you are not “abiding in” Christ. Our bridegroom will not take people up in the air to meet him who have “divorced him” even if once “engaged to him”. Liken it to a normal engagement. Have you abandoned Him? Have you gone away from your first love? Or are you living as One? Or are you just in a house together, pretending to others that you love Him? Are you in close intimacy? Only you can answer…but do “ask yourself” these questions and don’t assume all is well. Truly, if it is not likened to a marriage, then why does Scripture use the word adulterers and adulteresses, to describe those who have chosen the World and its ruler Satan over Christ, the lover of their soul, who gave everything to be win the love of His Bride, The Church?
James 4:4
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
It is time to return to the Lord, if you once knew greater intimacy with Him. He is ready to take you in his arms and abundantly pardon… help you to overcome sin… and give you righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, which is the Kingdom of God.
Romans 14:16-18
“Therefore, do not let what is for you a good thing be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who in this way serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.”
To Respond is simple.
Ask Christ Jesus to take over The Lordship of your life, and receive the salvation His Blood, shed on the cross, purchased for you. The Spirit of God will come live within your life and speak to your spirit, which is now reborn.
Heaven is your destiny if Jesus abides with you now.
If you know you are a backslider in your faith, or lukewarm in love and faithfulness, then return to Him and His Word. If you had once made him your Savior but have not given him Lordship of your life, then follow what James 4:7-8 tells you in clear instruction:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.”
Don’t give up… The Lord will never give up on you, but time is short and the window is closing. He is addressing the lukewarmness of His Church. If we’re neither hot nor cold, he will spew us out of his mouth. This song highlights some areas of lukewarmness, doesn’t it.
Today is the time. Grace is giving you this message, for one of the greatest gifts of grace that God has given man is the ability to repent and be met with the open loving arms of the Savior.
Tomorrow may be too late…. So please heed whatever is going on in your spirit man right now…for the Spirit of God communicates within to your spirit. I am praying for YOU to respond to make Christ “your” ruler, whether you’re just coming to know Jesus or have walked as a Christian all your life. It’s time to GET CLOSE! Amen?!
I am responding myself… for the Lord is always and forever going to be encouraging me to draw closer and to become more attuned to His Voice, more aware of His Word, and more obedient to The Truth. The Truth will set us all free. Hallelujah! We can all be thankful that He loves us so much!
